Celebrating Oddities

This is my reminder to celebrate who you are. Remember that all those quirks and hidden talents are the things that must be celebrated, as without them we'd all be far too similar. Here's a little poem I found that I think is adorably touching. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Kids Who Are Different
by Digby Wolfe

Here's to the kids who are different,
The kids who don't always get A's.
The kids who have ears twice the size of their peers,
And noses that go on for days.

Here's to the kids who are different,
The kids they all call crazy and dumb.
The kids who aren't cute and don't give a hoot,
Who dance to a different drum.

Here's to the kids who are different,
The kids with the mischievous streak.
For when they have grown,
As history's shown,
It's their difference that makes them unique.

  2. We are odd, aren't we?
And yet we fit together oh so perfectly.
    Oh, the magic of friendship...
