30 for 30 Apology

If you're reading my blog because you linked to me through the list of 30 for 30 participants, or because you were hoping to check out my outfits, I must apologize that you will be let down about my number of outfit posts. I currently have only one outfit post, which is from my first 30 for 30 outfit.

I definitely haven't dropped out of the challenge, as I've still been dressing solely from my thirty pieces. I'm currently wearing outfit 18! However, as I mentioned in the first outfit post I am not a fashion blogger. For this reason I found it very hard to photograph my outfits. It's been a mix of finding time, finding a location (other than my room), and finding a photographer. I haven't had any of these, but I especially haven't had time. It's nearing the end of the term, which means an overload of assignment and studying for final exams. Plus there's lots of final meetings, events, and gatherings for every group I'm involved in. Things have just been incredibly chaotic and will remain this stressful until the evening of December 18th. That's the night I write my last final exam. So due to my lack of time I unfortunately don't have photos of any of my other outfits. I plan on remedying this once I'm home for the holidays. I'll have some time to accomplish a few projects, so I plan on commandeering my sister to photograph every single outfit. I'm sure we'll end up with endless ridiculous outfit pictures, but it should be fun. I've been keeping track of every outfit, so hopefully they'll all be easy to recreate.

So stay patient, stay tuned, and I promise to throw up at least a few outfit pictures soon enough.

  1. I did link to you through the 30x30. I hope all your work is going well. No need to apologize to us for not having time for pictures. Trust me, it is a time commitment - I'm just fortunate to have the time right now. Focus on your work and if you get to putting pictures up, we will be here to cheer you on!

  2. I totally understand, getting in the habit of taking pictures every day can be a hard one. I think I'm in the numbness stage, I do it without even thinking ahhh!!! Either way, I love what I've seen with your style. Keep it up!

  3. Thanks for the support Linda and Sarah! It's ladies like you that keep me motivated to do the challenge even on days that I'd rather just throw on sweat pants and run out the door.
